First matches for Night 1 of The Big One Weekend:
'The Nightmare' Scotty Hexx VS. 'The UK Luchadore' El Ligero

'The Nightmare' Scotty Hexx is currently on a role in the NWL, at The Chacmpionship Series this past March, Hexx crushed JA Smith to win the NO.1 Contendership for Brad Flash's GNP British Counties Championship. Following the Flash vs. Phoenix bout, Hexx entered the arean and destroyed Flash knocking his unconscious with a HexxDrive, he cashed in his shot and became the new GNP British Counties Champion. His opponent for Night 1 has been announced in the form of the returning, El Ligero! Ligero is a fan favourite in many promotions including GPW, where Hexx and Ligero both wrestle. Just coming off a match with Ultimo Dragon, El Ligero is looking forward to returning to NWL with a bang. BUT, will Brad Flash have any part in this match with his bitter fued with Hexx?
Bowbroom Bash Re-Match
'The Young Flyer' Bubblegum VS. 'The Teenage Sensation' Brad Flash

A Re-match here from the NWL debut show, Bowbroom Bash where Flash narrowly pipped Bubblegum to retain his former GNP British Counties Championship. Since then both me have stepped up a plate, Flash active in the 1PW roster and Bubblegum wrestling most days of the week for various promotions and becoming the GNP Champion. A match that is sure to deliver, but vice versa, will Scotty Hexx interrupt?
